Americans with Disabilities Act Deals with All Types of Wheelchair Issues

The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 is a crucial resource for ensuring that wheelchair-bound individuals receive the same benefits as others. At the time the act was introduced, the ADA noted that 43 million of the 260 million American citizens were disabled, representing 16.5 percent of the population. Of those, 720,000 were wheelchair-bound.
